My story.
Your story.
Were you a victim of teen bullying? Did your supposed “friends” ostracize you?
Or were you the “mean girl” and what do you regret (if anything) about that time in your life?
If you’d like to submit a guest post, telling your story, please contact me at danceswithchaos (at) gmail (.com)
It could be a story from yesterday, or thirty years ago.
Let others know they are not alone.
This blog is meant to be a collaboration, filled with other stories, not just my own.
In hopes that one day, someone who feels alone finds it, only to hear from all of us.
Thank you.

This is a fabulous idea. I loved that post when you wrote it for TRDC. I bet this blog will be a great outlet for a lot of people.
Thanks for linking it up for Fledgling Friday ๐
Thank you. I’m hoping it turns out that way.
Please feel free to continue to pass on the word about this blog, as it is in its infancy.
What an amazing idea, Kelly! I am honoured to follow it and hope that it becomes a place of solace and friendship to anyone who’s being bullied.
Will email you a blog post from last year – in it I recalled my own experiences with mean girls. Oddly, once I’d written it, I was finally freed and no longer wriggle with remembered pain.
Love,
Belly
I look forward to your submission.
I had no idea you had a story to share here.
I learn new things every day… and am continually confounded how many of us have been there.
And a fantastic motto that is so true.
I remember at the time, I thought it was the end of the world….
What a great idea!! I know there are many women, men, teens, and now children going through the pain and confusion of bullying. This will serve as a perfect meeting place for those in need of support and those wanting to lend support.
I can’t say enough great things.
It continues to baffle me how many have “been there”.
I honestly had no idea, until I posted about it and received so many comments from others with a story to tell.
I figured why not put them all in one place so those still hurt or going through it can know they aren’t alone.
Please pass it on, so the pile of stories can begin.
Great idea, Kelly! I just posted today about worrying my daughter is a Queen Bee in the making.
Good for you!
I’m going to have to read that. I think having a potential Queen Bee is almost scarier…
Wow, what a great idea. This is the perfect place for some of us to vent and for others to find the support they need.
I hope it becomes that.
Feel free to share this with others and get the word out, so it does become that place.
kelly, what a fantastic idea. WOW. I actually have a story and will email it to you within the week.
You too, my dear?
So many of us. So many stories.
So much support we can give each other, even years later.
Hugs, my friend.
Great idea…. I already sent you my submission ๐ A LOT of people are going to be able to relate to this blog!!!
Your submission is posted today – the distinguished first guest post.
It really spoke to me the drive you had to write this piece, not able to sleep because of the urge to put your story into words.
I have been there.
I hope sharing your story helps you as well.
I find myself wanting to go dancing with you now. ๐
I think the title requires that I contribute. Great idea for a blog.
Well, if it’s a requirement I should obviously comply… ๐
Of course I’d love to have you contribute.
Glad you like the idea. Feel free to pass the word on.
Kelly –
I am absolutely planning to submit a story to you, if you’ll still have me. At this point, I may have to wait until the end of August when the kids are back in school…Right now my writing plate is full and my time is short.
Our summer days/nights are busy (and it is difficult for me to write seriously or at all with eleven kids in my pool..obviously!)
Still, you can count on me for a post in a couple of months.
It’s kind of like receiving baby clothes in the 6-12 month size when you have a newborn. The baby fits in them before you know it…
Actually it’s nothing like that. but I’m too busy to erase this reply and write a better one. So hopefully you get my point..
(I need a nap.)
p.s. You are AWESOME for doing this. AWESOME.
